Growing up bilingual

Whether your children are in an international school, have a French family, or if it's simply out of pure interest and curiosity that you'd like them to learn French, here you will find resources and advice to help your kids find joy in learning French from seven years old, to their time at primary school, up to the time they join high school.

01. Who is this for?

Children from 7-11 years old.

Your child must know English.

You child level can be:

=> beginner: they start from scratch,

=> intermediate: they speak French already but struggle with the writing.

02. What will your child learn?

The objective is for your child to learn how to communicate in French whilst having fun.

There will be no preparation for a test, or set homework.

Here are the topics covered through lessons: introducing yourself, family and friends, talking about a typical day, food, drinks, school, outfits, house, hobbies, holidays. It includes being able to deal in real-life situations such as asking for a glass of water, an ice-cream, saying that they don't feel well, etc.

03. Individual lessons

Price: A fee of £45 is to be paid prior to the lesson.

This is a 1:1 lesson, meaning that we go at your child's pace, with no pressure to speak in front of others for example.

There is no commitment. This means that, at any time, if you would like your child to stop lessons, there is no cancellation fee. And although, this has never happened (yet), if you feel like you child is not making any progress or not enjoying the lessons, there is no pressure to keep going.

04. Masterclass

Price: A fee of £150 for the package (£25 per lesson) is to be paid prior to the masterclass. There are usually 3 lessons per week during two weeks.

A masterclass taks place during the school holidays. There are 5 students maximum per lesson.

One missed lesson cannot be refunded.
